MK8000 is a UWB (ultra-wideband) technology based highly integrated WSoC (Wireless SoC) compliant to IEEE802.15.4/15.4z and FiRa standards with high precision 3-D location capability, which suitable for applications in complex electromagnetic environments such as mobile phones and automobiles. The MK8000 has ultra-low power consumption, which is suitable for coin cell-based IoT applications, and its high integration and small package characteristics are suitable for applications such as smart wearables and smart tags. It integrates RF matching network, antenna switch and TRX transceiver switch to ensure consistent system performance and greatly simplify the integration of UWB functions. It integrates ARM® Cortex M0 processor with various memory options and power states optimized for mobile and IoT applications. Dedicated AES engine and TRNG generator ensures secure ranging and data communication. The MK8000 also further expands the application of the MK8000 in the mobile phone, automotive and IoT markets based on radar bio-sensing and presence detection algorithms based on OctSens technology.
