The NRT81850 is a fully integrated ultra-wideband SiP compliant with IEEE 802.15.4-2020 and IEEE 802.15.4z HRP UWB PHY/MAC standards. It is designed for precise real-time location systems, as well as secure data communication.
The chip consists of a reconfigurable analog front-end that contains a transmitter and three identical receivers (1T3R), a digital SoC sub-system, PLLs and clock generation blocks, and a power management unit. The 1T3R architecture is advantageous for accurate and real-time ranging and arrival-of-angle detection.
